"Bun"nies!

Allison and I have been playing around a lot with eachother's hair lately. She will brush my hair (which I loooove) and I will style hers. It's not perfect but we have fun. 
We call this one "bunnies", bun piggytails. They are especially great when it's super hot outside.

She looks just like Daddy in these photos. She got all of him. His height, his eyes, his lips, his smile, his burps, his toots, his ______ (fill in the blank won't you). Although I will argue that she did get my stick out a bit at the top ears!

Back 2 School!

Monday was back to school for Allison and as you can see here she was very excited!

Up Close and Personal with Kate

Big Girl! Kate just had her Doctor's appointment and she's growing! Her stats are on her "About Kate" page. She only had to get 2 shots and a yummy drop this time. So far no fussing and lots of happy time. We'll see how she does later throughout the day. She loves her tummy time and can now roll over onto her belly though she gets stuck and wants to be rescued!

Hot Trendz!

The new school year has approached and the fall trend is to mix not match.  Who says? I don't know. I only saw it on television.  Daddies can all relax now when they dress their kids.  In Daddy's defense she dressed herself on this day.

George and Clara Fun

George and Clara came over for some fun playtime. They had a blast playing ring around the rosies. There was so much action I could never get a clear shot! Allison kept falling down first and bringing George and Clara down with her. It was hysterical!

Trunk Show and Allison Update

"It's in here somewhere!!"

A few new things Allison has been doing lately.

Talking up a storm. She can form sentences using the past and present tense. It's amazing.
She is still a bit shy when people she doesn't know are around her but warms up eventually. She seems to absorb and take it all in at first. Her shyness shouldn't fool anyone though. She is secretly a very active, chatty little firestorm. She likes to run laps around the house. Her new thing now is getting her stool and using it for more height. She wants to be tall(er). She'll place it in front of anything.

Her jumping has also improved greatly. A little too much where she now wants to jump on the couch. A big NO! She is also now afraid of the dark somewhat. Sometimes I don't know if she is acting or she is truly afraid of something. She likes reactions so she'll do anything for one. I need to get her into gymnastics and theater promptly.
Besides the dark, she is concerned about the garage door opening and closing. I think it's the loud noise it makes but she always stands behind one of us or wants to close it herself to make sure it's closed.

She is such a helper and great big sister. She will grab me a diaper or put Kate's pacifier back in her mouth when she spits it out. She needs to work on her sharing still but will always give you a turn. Her "please" and "thank you's" are better than ever. We say thank you and please as much as we can. Politeness is key.

She is eating better only slightly. She is very very picky. It's amazing she even grows. Sometimes all she will drink is her milk cup at dinner and not eat dinner at all...

Happy 4 months and happy growth spurt to us! We were sleeping through the entire night up until a few days ago. Oh Bother!
