Christmas Ranch

We made the trek to Cleveland last night to see the lights at the Christmas Ranch! The drive was long and the wait was short so it was worth seeing all those lights. Even Santa was there giving out candy canes to young and old. It was pretty spectacular and I wished there was more but that's what DisneyWorld is for.

India Study

This fall Allison and her classmates have been studying the country of India which would lead them into December where they would present the country at this year's Winter Cultural Festival.

This last week she got to eat some true Indian food, get a henna tattoo and dress in a beautiful sari and bindi decorated on her forehead. I love that she gets to experience this and learn about other cultures. There is so much in this world to explore!

I couldn't stop singing Lionel Richie at Allison's first ballet class. It's safe to say she loved it.

Nothin like a sneaky Santa!

Kate's school was very creative when it came to taking Santa photos. They knew this age group was the official "wail and scream" bunch of kiddos that they got Santa to go up behind them and take a picture so no parent would be able to receive the best picture of their lives!

We had brunch on Sunday and got to meet Santa and take pictures. He was oh so jolly and full of love!

Grandma did a wonderful job hiding behind Santa's chair so Kate would stay still for a picture. Success! 

Then Santa gave Allison a great big Santa hug and told her he loved her. Oh how sweet it was!

Kate starts MDO!!

After 2 1/2 years of being just me and Kate, I let her go.
Blessed to be able to put her in a MDO program to play with kids her own age.

Allison and soccer

We put Allison in soccer this Fall. We felt she was such a great runner/kicker and would love it. Little did we know, she didn't love it. Maybe if it was all girls she would have.... Oh well, We now have good feelers out for what we can try next!

Back to School for Allison

Allison started back at school on Aug 26.

This will be her last year at the school she's been at since she was 18 months old. So hard to Believe!!

 Kate and I went and did our usual grocery shopping and I let her ride the mini carousel at Kroger. She was so much happier after leaving her sister behind.

We put a new Red Oak tree where our old Bradford Pear was and I can't wait to watch it grow as the girls grow.
