The Princess and the Frog!

Happy Halloween 2011! Allison was a fairy princess this year and Kate was her frog. (Allison's 2009 costume). Grandma and Papa John came over to take pictures and take us to a few houses. We had a great time. I can't wait until next year when Kate can walk with her big sister. Oh and who knew when you have a second baby in costume (one who can't even eat sweets yet) you get more candy! So double double toil and trouble for us! By the end of the night the pink pumpkin weighed a few pounds.

When we got home we let Allison pick candy from her loot and she ate about 4 pieces of candy. Needless to say she was HYPER and didn't fall asleep til maybe 9:30!

Fall Festival

It was the annual fall festival at Allison's school and all the kids dressed up as one group theme. This year her class was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". As she paraded around with her class she finally saw me and Kate waving and calling her name and whispered back "Hi Momma". It was the sweetest thing.

It Rained!

Wow, We had a really great rainstorm last night and Allison decided to run around in it. Kate just watched in amazement. This might be the second time it has rained in all her 6 and a half months of life!

Sleeping Beauty

Happy 6 Months Kate!

One half year has gone by since Kate was born. It is so hard to believe! Kate is still not the best sleeper at night. It's funny how on the nights that she does sleep for 10 hours straight I wake up before her waiting for her to get up because it has been too long since I've seen her and I miss her so much. Kate can now roll from belly to back - back to belly and roll from the living room playmat to the kitchen under the sink mat (jk)! She can roll this one!

Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time with the Hadjioannou's over the weekend at a Pumpkin Patch in Spring. We climbed pumpkins, came face to face with goats, slid down a bouncy slide, rode a train and picked out a giant Halloween Pumpkin. Mommy bought a "little baby one"  so she can steam and puree some baby food for Kate and maybe bake some pumpkin cupcakes.

Kate had a great day today playing with her friend Elyse. They both played with some dangling toys, stared hard at a big golden retriever named Riesling (darn, no picture of Riesling) and tried to eat her buddy's hand!
