Let the Countdown begin

Back to School is right around the corner and we have started our countdown. Every morning after breakfast we cut off a link/day off the chain and watch it get shorter and shorter.
Kate has a ways to go still!

We then went to the school's park to play.

and Jason's deli for lunch and a special treat.

Beach Trip

We drove all the way to Galveston one day and went to the beach. The trip lasted all but 25 minutes. Kate hated the sand. Allison hated the waves. Well, it's a good thing we don't have any beach trips planned. Maybe one day they will enjoy the beach.

We prepare and eat fresh, delicious foods and have been staying clean of over processed junk. There is nothing better than home cooked meals that are good for you and make you feel good. The kids aren't in the pictures but I love the colors of all this yummyness that it needed to be shown.

August has finally arrived and we have been busy!

Some fun things we've done so far:

Pretend to put each other to bed

Watch the 3rd round of baby birds born in the last 3 months

Watch the tree guys take down the Bradford pear

Make a mess painting!
