Happy 2nd Birthday Allison!!!

It has been 2 whole years since Allison was born. It's hard to imagine and look back at all the photos and how much she has grown mentally and physically. She knows so many words, she can do so many things it would just be too much to list. It's amazing how much change there is between 18 and 24 months. Not to mention she is super strong. I think those monkey bars are doing the trick.

We had a very good time on her birthday with George and Clara at the house. Allison did have a bit of a mishap falling off the swing and it took a little bit of time to recover but luckily it didn't put a damper on things when it was time to eat and enjoy cake.

We took Allison to see Elmo for her pre-birthday present. She was a bit taken aback at first. I'm sure she had to be thinking, "What? these things come to life?" She loved every moment afterwards and got pretty hyper throughout. We had to leave shortly after intermission. Maybe a bit too much stimulation plus it was lunchtime.. We were starving.

First time at the Zoo

We finally took Allison to the zoo. She loved it. But I think she's more of a ride girl. The carousel was more fun. She wanted to run around independently and do her own thing every time we came to a new animal which made for some very tired parents. Daddy especially.
