Allison has been a busy girl these days. Here are some things she loves to do now.
• Taking showers on Saturday morning after eating breakfast (maple syrup in the hair usually warrants a hot shower in mommy and daddy’s bathroom)
• Talking – She will talk to her animals, the real ones (suki and ninja) and the stuffed ones – telling them to “sit down” or “walk away” whilst pointing. She loves to point and say “eeeewwwwwww” when she sees something that looks yucky! No means “No” and Yes means “No”. Trying to say “peez” and “ten Q” more and more.
• Role playing – she will take her plastic people and stuffed animals (Tickle me Elmo is a fave right now) and sit them all in a circle like if hosting a tea party. It’s the funniest thing!
• Being outside - (nothing new) she likes to be chased around the backyard.
• Kissing – Allison has been kissing like crazy. She kisses us, she pretends her little people are kissing each other, her bath toys kiss each other, and will kiss on command. She even had her first kiss with Georgie over the weekend when we visited the Hadjiouannou’s!
Here she is going in for that sweet smack:
First Kiss
• School – loving school right now. We tried to pick her up the other day but she was way too busy to come to mommy and daddy and continued to play and put up a fight to walk to the car.
• Changing Table – don’t use it much anymore. Thanks to school, we are stand up diapering more and more now and showing her where the poopoo REALLY goes prompting some “eeeewwwww”s.
• Cleaning – cleans up after herself after spilling. Will grab a towel and clean up wet spots on the floor.
• Drinking – saying “ahhh” after sipping a cold cup of water.
• Eating – isn’t a big eater just yet. Loves certain things and isn’t eating meat unless its bbq. Spits out chicken and burger meat, but does take some bites of pork and brisket.
• In bed at night – We’ll put her to bed around 7:15/30 but she’ll just lay there and talk up a storm to Ms Judy her doll. I can only imagine what she is saying to her. I heard her saying “Don’t cryyy!?” (in the form of a question) repeatedly one night.
• Being busy, staying busy, running around and tripping every now and then. War wounds to prove it.
